PEL DESIGN (“we”, “us” or “our”) operates peldsgn.com and sells ready-made 3D printed products and custom 3D printing services in Malaysia.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address;
- order, payment-status, delivery and customer-service information;
- account details if you create a customer account;
- project details and 3D model files that you submit for a quotation;
- product reviews or other information you choose to submit; and
- technical information needed to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser information, cookies and server logs.
Stripe processes card and payment information for us. PEL DESIGN does not receive or store your complete card number.
Why we use your information
We use personal data to:
- process payments, fulfil and deliver orders;
- prepare quotations and communicate about custom-print projects;
- provide customer support, refunds or exchanges;
- maintain customer accounts and order records;
- prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents;
- comply with accounting, tax and legal obligations; and
- improve our products, services and website.
3D model files
A model file uploaded through the quotation form is removed from the website server after the quotation email is sent. A copy may remain in the quotation email and related business correspondence while we assess or complete the project. You may ask us to delete it when it is no longer required, subject to legal or record-keeping obligations.
Who receives information
We disclose only what is reasonably needed to service providers that help us operate the store, including our website host, WooCommerce, Stripe, email provider and delivery providers. These providers may process information outside Malaysia. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or with your consent.
We do not sell personal data.
Cookies
The website uses cookies and similar storage needed for the shopping cart, checkout, customer login, security and site preferences. Stripe and other payment features may set their own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud.
Retention and security
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and for applicable accounting, tax, dispute and legal requirements. We take practical technical and organisational measures to protect it, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable Malaysian law, you may ask whether we hold your personal data, request access or correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask us to delete information that we no longer need to retain.
